Product overview
       The centrifugal scraper thin film evaporator is equipped with a heating steam jacket on the outside of the shell and a rotatable scraper on the inside. The scraper is driven by a rotating shaft in the center of the cylinder. After the raw material liquid is added tangentially from the upper part of the evaporator, a down-rotating film is formed along the inner wall of the shell driven by gravity and the rotating scraper. The finished liquid is discharged from the bottom discharger, and the secondary steam is discharged from the upper part after passing through the demister. The outstanding advantage of this type of evaporator is its strong adaptability to materials. It is suitable for evaporating liquids with high viscosity, easy crystallization, easy scaling, suspended solids or both heat-sensitive materials.

Evaporator performance characteristics
       Small vacuum pressure drop
       The vaporized gas of the material is sent from the heating surface to the external condenser, and there is a certain pressure difference. In a typical evaporator, this pressure drop (△p ) is usually relatively high, sometimes even unacceptably high. The scraped thin film evaporator has a large space for gas to pass through. The pressure in the evaporator can be regarded as almost equal to the pressure in the condenser. Therefore, the pressure drop is very small and the vacuum can reach5mmHg.


 
       Low operating temperature
       Due to the above characteristics, the evaporation process can be carried out under high vacuum conditions. As the degree of vacuum increases, the corresponding boiling point of the material decreases rapidly. Therefore, the operation can be performed at a lower temperature, which reduces the thermal decomposition of the product.
       Short heating time
       Due to the structure of the scraped film evaporator, the scraper has a pumping effect, so that the residence time of the material in the evaporator is very short; in addition, on the heated evaporator, due to the high-speed turbulence of the film, the product will not stay on the surface of the evaporator. Therefore, it is especially suitable for the evaporation of heat-sensitive materials.
       High evaporation intensity
       The reduction of the boiling point of the material increases the temperature difference between the same heat medium; the function of the film scraper reduces the thickness of the liquid film in a turbulent state and reduces the thermal resistance. At the same time, in this process, the material is prevented from forming walls and scaling on the heating surface, and is accompanied by good heat exchange. Therefore, the overall heat transfer coefficient of the scraped thin film evaporator is improved.
